What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

From the process of constructing our product ‘Psychosis’, I have learnt many things about different types of technologies. In post-production we used Seltex to write our script. One of the key decisions in the film was to record the movie on a Panasonic HD video camera, we decided this in preproduction and actually used the camera during the production of the film to give us various angles and shots to add tension and effect to the film. 

In production we used an IPhone 6 app called Voice Recorder to record a voice over where our character Jennifer is calling her friend, this expanded the use of technology in the film, and this decision was successful as it would be a voice over and the sound quality would be better... Once we had finished filming, in post-production we decided to use Premiere Pro to edit the film.

Using computers at college, we screenshotted some of the shots in our film and analysed them individually on PowerPoint in order to assess which shots were good and which shots could improve for the final filming time. After we analysed the shots we uploaded the PowerPoints using Google Drive (as it’s rather easy to use) and finally uploaded them to our group blog on the ‘Blogger’ website.

We also used Excel Graphs to analyse the questionnaires that we created on Word and created a graph showing what different people thought of our story line and how they would react to our type of film and if anything could be improved.
