Film Name: Psychosis
Duration of Film: 2 minutes
Distributor: Brink Vision
Certificate: Age 12, this is due to the fact that there are
scary scenes in the film such as the dark figure following our main character,

scary to cause any disturbances to the audience.
Audience details: The typical age group for the audience of
our film is Teenagers, as they’re very interested in horror and exciting films.
The gender of the audience is very mixed as the film isn’t particularly aimed

Summary of film: The main character Jennifer wakes up from a
nightmare in the afternoon, implying that she suffers from insomnia. In her
head, she sees her older sister with an eerie look. She goes downstairs to have
a conversation with her sister and she is mentally disturbed, she leaves the
house in a hurry and phones her friend to meet up with her to talk about her
worries, saying “It’s happening again”, she walks into the woods to meet her
friend. As she’s walking through the woods, she hears a noise and starts
running in a panic due to her paranoia, she then sees a dark figure.
Suggested elements: Our film contains a large variety of
shots and angles, giving the film a unique selling point. All apart from our ‘mysterious
figure’ wears regular every day clothing, meaning the audience can relate to
them. The costume and makeup of the dark figure means you can distinguish the
difference between the agonist and antagnoist.
